Tak jsem se při hledání informací o Daveu "Rat" Levinovi dostal na pár diskusních fór na webových stránkách profesionálních zvukařských časopisů - a když si srovnám, co se řeší tam a jaké pí..viny, poř. žabomyší války řešíme my tady, tak si říkám: pánové, vždyť jsme všichni úplný ubožáci (sám se z toho nijak nevylučuju). Občas zjistím, že jsou lidi, který mentálně představujou fakt jinej level - třeba taková Albína Dratvová (česká matematička a filozofka; *tuším že 1896, +1969, nedávno vyšel její vědecký deník) nebo zrovna Dave Rat (zvukař R.H.C.P. a Rage Against the Machine). A nedá mi to, abych sem něco nenakopíroval jeho osobního webu (přeložte si to sami; kdo na to nemá, aspoň ví, že je úplně mimo):

There are several concepts or ideals I embrace that all pretty much relate back to the same thing.

I believe that if you enjoy what you do, you tend to do it well.
If you are happy and do a good job then the people that you prefer to deal with will enjoy dealing with you and pay you for doing what you love.
Never take advantage of people and people will be more likely to look after your back rather than stab it.
If you agree to do something then do it. Always do the gig properly and even if you take a financial hit, your reputation is way more important than cash.
Learn from mistakes and try and avoid repeatingthem but never compromise the quality of what you do.
Never give kick backs, the concession in ethics gives those that cannot be trusted a power over you.
Be patient, a constant positive pressure in a chosen direction will invariably see results.
Shortcuts are a gamble. If you want a guaranteed win, then take your time.
Most importantly, enjoy that time and don't stop till you succeed.
